PINK ICE

This spectacular view is created by unusual desert illumination. Utah Antelope Island State Park Wind Chill Got out for my first shoot of the year. We had a quick storm come through night before and the temperature dropped quite a bit. When I left home it was 25F (-4 C) and the sun was still up but by the time the colors got the way I wanted them it was down to 14F and with the wind chill around 1F (-20 C). The air was so clear I was able to see over 100 miles in 3 directions- (the 4th is blocked by mountains). Kind of made up for the fog in my last shot of the year where I was lucky to see 30 yards. Of course I forgot my gloves and hat but numb fingers and ears didn't stop me from getting some after sunset color.Oversized item measures 15" x 70" in a limited edition of 125 on our pure Habotai SIlk.
