Born in Zurich (Switzerland) 1943, I was instructed to start my education
in a so called "normal profession", so I started an apprenticeship in the
field of advertising, design and marketing.
Painting, photography, scuba-diving and woodworking had to be just
"hobbies" during most of my career. 2000, after early retirement and
selling my management and marketing consultancy in Switzerland,
I realised my life long dream to emigrate to Australia and settled on
the Sunshine Coast with my partner Stefanie and paint fulltime ever since.
Travelling the USA, Bahamas, Cayman Island, Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia
and some of the most beautiful places in Australia have been an absolute
inspiration to me.
My skills could be considered self-taught and refined over the years.
I'm constantly challenged by new impressions and different techniques.
My work is exhibited in different galleries in Australia and in
Ft. Lauderdale FL and is held in private collections in Australia, Europe
and the USA.
