| I am an artist for over 30 years and a poet. On my travels I became influenced by Botticelli, Titian, Vermeer and Michelangelo.
My favorite subjects are children, portraits, but I paint almost everything from flowers in bloom, scrumptious still life, sunny or misty landscapes
and animals in pencil, watercolor, acrylics and oils in any size and shape. The sculptures range from portraits, figurative to animals, even puppets,
in clay and Paper-Mache. It's so much fun to dress puppets, creatures, dolls with all sorts of materials. I am also known to turn recycled materials
like card board into the most beautiful and unusual objects and murals.
Some years ago I designed lots of vignettes for 1st Thursday's and Festival of Trees at the Orlando Museum of Art. For the LizArt Program I designed,
adorned and dressed three lizards with metal sheet, mesh, paint, cloth and gems. As the Creative Director and Instructor at the Maitland Center I design
and create every year all the props, murals and activities for the Annual Children's Art Festival.
My artwork has been displayed in galleries, museums and at festivals. For the motion picture "Extreme Force" I designed and executed costumes, jewelry
and accessories. I taught and teach many classes for children and adults in drawing, painting, sculpture and crafts including a variety of techniques.
At Rollins College and at the Maitland Art Center I taught workshops and seminars for puppets and puppet theaters. My studio displays numerous projects,
paintings in many media and sculptures.
In my art creations I strive for beauty and precision, filled with light and shadow, subtle or dramatic. I love to create and recreate real worlds as well
as fantasy worlds with my paint brush and sculptures from small to large. I like to imagine pictures in a cloud and believe in dreams - do you?
